Quick summary

You control what others see: hide/show wish description and/or amount while on the leaderboard. When a wish is selected for fulfillment, the amount becomes final and cannot be edited.

Location & Rewards

After you log in, Sad Wish will ask for your location. We use this to deliver tailor-made ads that increase ad revenue and make more wish grants possible.

To make it worth your time: +10 points the first time you share your location, and +10 points every time it updates (about once per hour).

How Sad Wish works

1. Social → Points

We take the familiar mechanics of social media — posting, likes, shares and comments — and convert them into points. Every like/share adds points to the post owner; referrals and activity from your referees boost your score too.

2. Set a Wish

When you set a wish you specify the USD amount needed and description. You may choose to hide the amount, the description, or both. Only when your wish is selected for funding will the final amount be locked.

3. Leaderboard

Your position on the leaderboard is visible once you sign up. The top-ranking users are first considered when funds are allocated. If a wish is too large to grant immediately, it stays in place until funds are available.

4. Funding Logic

We convert ad revenue into a pool. From the top down, we evaluate wishes and fulfill what we can afford. Even if we fulfill someone lower on the list, everyone keeps their leaderboard position — your chance remains.

Points & Referral Mechanics

  1. Referral bonus: +100 points for each user who signs up with your referral link.
  2. Activity bonus: +1 point for every post or comment your referrals make.
  3. Engagement bonus: +1 point for each like and +1 for each share you receive on your posts.

Points determine leaderboard ranking. The more engaged your network is, the faster you climb.
